ABOUT

A black and white portrait of a middle-aged woman with glasses, wearing a dark sweater, earrings, and a layered necklace, looking at the camera with a slight smile.

Graciela Rossetto was born in the vibrant city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and has been based in The Hague, Netherlands, since 1997. Growing up, she developed a deep appreciation for art, culture, crafts and human connection. Her experiences across different countries and cultures have nurtured her curiosity and continue to inspire her creative practice.

As a photographer and filmmaker, she works at the intersection of visual imagery, art and storytelling, with a keen eye for detail, light, and atmosphere. Her work focuses on cultural, documentary, and portrait projects, where human experiences and authentic stories play a central role.

Through her visual narratives, Graciela explores the relationship between contemporary life, traditional knowledge, craftsmanship, and cultural practices. By collaborating with the people behind these practices, she creates work that highlights the value of handmade processes, artistic expression, and the knowledge passed down through generations.
